JDL Access (“JDL Access,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides reimbursement support services, patient access programs, and payer advocacy for medical technology companies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit JDLaccess.com (the “Website”), and describes the choices and rights available to you, including specific rights for residents of California and other U.S. states. 

This policy is written to reflect what JDL Access actually does. We are a business-to-business (B2B) informational and services website. We do not operate a consumer storefront, we do not run behavioral remarketing or ad-retargeting campaigns, and we do not sell personal information. Nothing is collected automatically when you visit the Website — analytics tracking only begins if you affirmatively agree to it, as described in Section 3. Our data collection consists of (1) information you voluntarily submit through contact and inquiry forms, and (2) analytics data collected through Google Analytics, but only after you opt in through our cookie consent tool. 

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly 

When you fill out a contact form, request information, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect: 

• Name and job title 

• Email address and phone number 

• Company name and business information 

• Address, city, state, and ZIP/postal code 

• The content of your message, inquiry, or attachments you choose to send us 

 
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information through the Website. If you send us sensitive information voluntarily (for example, in a free-text message field), we will handle it consistent with this Policy and applicable law, and only for the purpose you provided it. 

Information Collected Only With Your Consent (Analytics) 

No tracking technology on the Website is active by default. When you first visit, a cookie consent banner asks whether you agree to analytics tracking. If you close the banner, navigate away, or otherwise do not click “Accept,” our consent management platform logs this as a “No choice” state, and all optional and analytics cookies remain disabled by default. No automatic data collection occurs unless and until you affirmatively click to accept. 

Only if you affirmatively agree will the Website activate Google Analytics, which may then collect: 

• IP address (which may be truncated or anonymized) 

• Browser type and version, device type, and operating system 

• Pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring/exit pages, and click activity 

• Approximate location derived from IP address 

We use Google Analytics strictly for first-party site analytics. We do not use Google Analytics advertising features (such as remarketing audiences, Google Signals, or ad personalization), and we do not use Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or comparable advertising/retargeting tags on the Website. If that changes, we will update this Policy before deploying such technology. 

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to: 

• Respond to inquiries and provide requested information about our services 

• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website 

• Understand aggregate traffic patterns and how visitors use the Website, but only through Google Analytics data collected after you have opted in 

• Comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect our legal rights 

• Communicate with you about our services, if you have contacted us or otherwise engaged with JDL Access 

We do not use personal information collected through the Website to serve targeted or interest-based advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles about Website visitors. 

3. Cookies, Analytics, and Your Consent Choices

The Website uses a cookie consent management platform that requires your affirmative opt-in before any non-essential tracking occurs. 

• Default state — no collection: When you arrive at the Website, analytics tracking is off. If you close the consent banner, click away, or otherwise leave the page without clicking “Accept,” our consent tool records a “No choice” status and keeps all optional and analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, disabled by default. This reflects strict, consent-first practices consistent with heightened privacy frameworks such as the GDPR, applied here on a consistent, all-visitor basis. 

• If you agree: Clicking “Accept” activates Google Analytics tracking for that visit and future visits, subject to your ability to change your mind at any time (see below). 

• Changing your preferences: Even after you accept, you can revisit your cookie choices at any time using the cookie preferences link available in the Website’s footer navigation menu. From there, you can review your current setting and opt out, which disables analytics tracking going forward. 

This is an opt-in, not opt-out, consent model — a stronger form of consent than the notice-and-opt-out standard required by California’s CCPA/CPRA. Because tracking never starts without your affirmative action, visitors who do not interact with the consent banner generate no analytics data at all. 

Google Analytics data handling: Once activated by your consent, Google Analytics collects usage data as described in Section 1. Google acts as our service provider/processor for this data. You can learn about Google’s data practices at Google’s Privacy & Terms page and can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for additional control across sites. 

Global Privacy Control (GPC) and other opt-out signals: Although our default is already “no collection” absent affirmative consent, we additionally detect and honor recognized universal opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), when sent by a supported browser or browser extension. If we receive a valid GPC signal, we will not activate analytics tracking regardless of any other interaction with the consent banner, and we will treat any prior consent as withdrawn going forward. 

4. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

JDL Access does not sell personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, and we do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or comparable state laws. 

Our use of Google Analytics is opt-in, limited to first-party site analytics, and configured with advertising features disabled. We do not transfer Website visitor data to third parties for their own independent advertising purposes. If our practices change in a way that would constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable law, we will update this Policy and provide the required opt-out mechanisms before doing so. 

5. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information to: 

• Service providers who perform functions on our behalf (for example, website hosting, IT infrastructure, email delivery, and Google as our analytics provider, only where you have opted in), under contractual terms limiting their use of the data to providing services to us. 

• Legal and safety purposes: to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to enforce our policies and agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of JDL Access, our users, or others. 

• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of company assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections and notice to you where required by law. 

We do not disclose personal information to data brokers, and we do not permit third parties to use Website visitor data for their own advertising purposes. 

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy — generally, for the duration of our relationship with you or your organization, plus a reasonable period thereafter to address follow-up inquiries, satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, and resolve disputes. Analytics data is only generated for visitors who opt in, and is retained according to our configured Google Analytics data retention settings, which we periodically review to align with data minimization principles. 

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. As of 2026, comprehensive consumer privacy laws are in effect in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington, among others. 

Regardless of your state of residence, JDL Access will honor the following rights for any Website visitor who submits a verifiable request: 

• Right to know/access what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used and disclosed 

• Right to correct inaccurate personal information 

• Right to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions 

• Right to data portability — to receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format 

• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising (though as noted above, we do not currently engage in either activity, and analytics is opt-in only) 

• Right to non-discrimination for exercising any privacy right 

How to submit a request: Email us at info@jdlaccess.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Request.” We will verify your identity using the information reasonably available to us and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 45 days, with a possible extension). You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification. 

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA) 

If you are a California resident, in addition to the rights above, you have the right to: 

• Know the categories of personal information collected, the categories of sources, the business purpose for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom it is disclosed 

• Limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring this limitation beyond what you voluntarily provide) 

• Not receive retaliatory or discriminatory treatment for exercising any CCPA/CPRA right 

Shine the Light: Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents with an established business relationship with us may request information once per year about any disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures. You may still submit a request to info@jdlaccess.com. 

Minors: California Business and Professions Code Section 22581 allows California residents under 18 who are registered users of the Website to request removal of content or information they have publicly posted. The Website does not include public posting features, but if this changes, we will support this right for eligible users. 

We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months. 

8. Children’s Privacy

The Website is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 (or under 16 where applicable state law sets a higher threshold for consent to processing or sale). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@jdlaccess.com and we will take steps to delete it. 

9. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. 

10. Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites. This Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit. 

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted with a prominent notice on the Website prior to becoming effective.
